Congratulations to Chef Wonder - Sheldon Simeon, James Beard Nominee 2022

Ho'omaika'i (congratulations) to Maui's own Chef Wonder, Sheldon Simeon, of Tin Roof restaurant, on his 2022 James Beard Award nomination!

He is one of only 5 chefs nominated from the Pacific Northwest region which includes Hawai'i, for Best Chef. Sheldon was part of the show, Top Chef, and has grown in popularity skyrocketing him to stardom.

His unique dishes that play into his upbringing in Hawaii are creative and absolutely delicious. There is always a line out the door at Tin Roof and we couldn't be more proud of him representing Hawai'i.

We were honored when his manager, Brendan, asked us to create new branding images for him in our Maui photography studio that captured his mischievous personality and his AMAZING, contagious smile. Sheldon is always humble and was so much fun to work with again (I've known him for years since his wife used to work with my husband, so I can officially say "I knew him before he was rock-star famous."). 

We will know more this weekend after the final winners are announced but until then, CONGRATULATIONS Sheldon!! Way to go!
