This week we had some crazy winter weather on our little island that actually produced SNOW on Haleakala summit! It was exciting to see snow atop Haleakala and the surrounding area. I popped outside the studio to take a quick photo of the rare event so we had it preserved in history. You can see my Maui photography studio on the left with the snow capped mountain in the background. I spoke with one of my contacts up at Haleakala National Park and he said there were snow drifts up to 6 feet deep. So exciting!
